Here's the first eclipse, Lunar Eclipse with Full Moon in Libra. Each month there's a Full Moon, but not always happening with an eclipse. After doing the the mini-series that brought us to the Spring Equinox, it feels important to witness this Lunar Eclipse.
I've made reference to the significance and meaning of an eclipse. Of course there is the astronomical event of the Moon moving into the Earth's shadow during a Full Moon. The meaning and occurrence from an astrological and self awareness place, is one of gaining and understanding of the impact on personal self-growth and soul insight.
This Eclipse and Full Moon in Libra are like a giant light house that is illuminating the darkness. In astrological terms the sign of Libra with the guiding principle of the Planet Venus, is presenting an opportunity for understanding the meaning of connection in relationships.
The Full Moon phase during each month signals and opportunity to release what does not serve a person's well being. With Libra, it is about understanding the nature of what supports the essential core of one's self in relationship to the core of another individual. In this regard, each person has to make a clear decision about what is true, and of consequences, for living an authentic and heart-centered life.
With this Full Moon, inner illumination and understanding are the hallmarks of unique expression that every person brings to relationships. The overall Venus-Libra message is about valuing and claiming one's own self worth. Remember that a relationship is about treasuring everyone.
